Summer EcoCrafts
Tuesdays July 6 through August 24 from 11am-2pm
Join us at Classic playground, Van Cortlandt Park South & Gouveneur Ave., to create picture frames, puppets, masks and more natural and recycled crafts using everyday items in new and exciting ways.

Garden/Compost Crew
Thursdays July 8 through August 26 from 10am-1pm
Join us in our first year growing vegetables to donate to POTS (Part of the Solution), a local soup kitchen and homeless shelter. Help pull weeds, turn and sift compost bins, and tend to our plants. Volunteers are welcomed to come once or several times throughout the summer. Group meets near Broadway and Mosholu Ave.

Saturday August 14th meeting at 10am
Meet at the Van Cortlandt Riding Stables. Enter the park at Broadway and Mosholu Ave.
September 11th meeting at 10am
Meet at the Van Cortlandt Golf House. Enter the park at Bailey & Van Cortlandt Park South
Join us for a series of hikes to enjoy your own backyard. Here’s your chance to explore and discover what is free in your neighborhood park- Van Cortlandt Park. Free giveaways for participants! Bring water, a snack and wear walking shoes! Held in partnership with Bon Secours New York Health System.

Thursdays, 6:30 - 8pm  at Van Cortlandt House Museum Lawn
